Lightning Trade Posthumus To Storm

The London Lightning have traded centre Chad Posthumus to the Island Storm, in exchange for two other players.

“An opportunity presented itself and we thought it would be a better fit for both players to have a fresh start," says Lightning head coach Kyle Julius in a media release. “We wish Chad well with his new team.”

The Lightning have acquired Nick Evans and Canadian Eric Kibi in the trade.

Evans is a 6”11" centre from Carbondale, Illinois who has played for the Island Storm and the Windsor Express over the past four seasons. Evans currently averages 13 points and eight rebounds per game.

Kibi, a Quebec City native, has played with the former Ottawa Skyhawks and was most recently played in Germany.

The Lightning will take on the Orangeville A's next on Sunday at 3pm.
