Man Charged In Series Of Break-Ins

A London man is facing 31 charges after more than a dozen break-ins throughout the city, Middlesex, Oxford, and Elgin counties.

London police and the OPP say the 13 break and enters happened at commercial properties between February 22 and March 9.

Robberies took place in south London, west London, Middlesex Centre, Thames Centre, Southwest Oxford Township, Zorra Township, Ingersoll, Central Elgin, and Southwold Township.

Police say during their investigation they found a vehicle which was reported stolen in London and clothing stolen during one of the Thames Centre break-ins.

Martin Moore is charged with the following:

  • Nine counts of break, enter a place to commit an indictable offence
  • Nine counts of possession of break-in instruments
  • Four counts of break, enter a place with intent to commit an indictable offence
  • Four counts of possession property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • One count of possession property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada
  • One count of disguise with intent
  • Three counts of driving while disqualified
Moore is scheduled to appear in London court on March 17.
