Police Looking For Gas Theft Suspect

London police are looking for a man they believe is responsible for a string of gasoline thefts dating back to August of last year.

The most recent theft happened on Sunday, April 10 at around 1:25pm. Police say a man put gas into his truck at the Canadian Tire Gas Bar at 1975 Dundas St. E and left without paying for it. It was the sixth such theft that police believe was committed by the same person.

The suspect is described as a white male, between the ages of 25 and 35, with a thin build. He has short brown hair and some facial hair. At the time of the April 10 theft, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants with a logo on the upper left thigh, and red and black running shoes. He was driving a white, 2006-2007 Ford F150 pickup truck with stolen licence plates. The plate number was BDJF615.

Anyone with any information is asked to call London police or Crime Stoppers.
