London is lifting the overnight parking ban on city streets for the summer this Friday.
Vehicles will be allowed to park on city streets, except for those identified by signs that exempt them from the lifting of the parking ban, between 3am and 5am. The prohibition of overnight parking returns after the Labour Day long weekend on September 5.
The by-law allows vehicles to be parked on streets for up to 12 hours at a time. The easing of restrictions does not apply to commercial motor vehicles, mobile homes or trailers.
