London police are investigating nearly a dozen break-ins to community mailboxes throughout the city.
Police say since January, ten mailboxes have been pried open, with the last five incidents happening since April 12.
Paper mail is typically left behind, leading police to believe thieves are attempting to get keys to access larger mailboxes which may contain packages.
Police say the break-ins are happening during the day before residents are able to collect their mail.
Anyone with information about the mailbox thefts is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
