Elton John Coming To London

Pop superstar Elton John is returning to London this fall.

John will bring his band to Budweiser Gardens on September 29 as part of his ten-city concert tour. It's the third time the international singer/songwriter has performed in the city.

“The simple truth is I want to spend more time with my family and less time touring,” says Elton. “I am all too aware of how precious the time ahead is. My sons are growing up so quickly. Their early years are just flying by and I want to be there with them."

John’s band features Nigel Olsson (part of Elton’s original three-piece band) on drums, Davey Johnstone on guitar, John Mahon on percussion, Kim Bullard on keyboards and Matt Bissonette on bass.

The show will feature hits and classics such as “Rocket Man”, “Bennie and the Jets”, “Crocodile Rock”, and “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” as well as songs from his latest album, Wonderful Crazy Night.

John's career spans five decades and he is one of the top-selling solo artists of all time with 35 gold records and 25 platinum albums, 29 consecutive Top 40 hits. He has sold more than 250 million records worldwide.

Tickets go on-sale to the public at 10am Monday.
