An 18-year-old Southwest Middlesex man is facing a list of charges after police say sexual images of minors were posted to the internet.
Police launched an investigation in April after getting information about an internet site on which there were sexual images of people under the age of 18. The OPP Child Exploitation Unit investigated further, and on June 17 officers raided a home in Southwest Middlesex. A computer and three cell phones were seized for forensic analysis.
A suspect was taken into custody. He is charged with:
Three counts of publication of an intimate image without consent Three counts of sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age Three counts of invitation to sexual touching with a person under 16 years of age Three counts of indecent exposure Sexual assault Two counts of sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age Three counts of sexual exploitation
The name of the accused is not being released because he was under the age of 18 at the time of some of the offences. He has been released on a Promise to Appear in court on July 18.
