London police are looking for a man who is wanted in connection with a deliberate hit-and-run crash.
The London Police Service say on Friday around 12:15am, a 29-year-old man was driving his vehicle along Oxford St. near Wharncliffe Rd. when he noticed a pickup truck was following him. The truck continued to follow the man before accelerating and intentionally colliding with the man's vehicle in the area of Highview Ave. E at Ferndale Ave.
The male driver of the pickup truck then exited his vehicle and attempted to gain access to the victim's vehicle. The driver of the truck left the scene on foot when he was unable to gain access to the other vehicle.
The victim was not injured in the crash and police say the two men know each other.
Police are now looking for 36-year-old Ali Salloum of Quebec in connection with the incident. He is wanted for assault with a weapon, dangerous driving and failing to remain at the scene of a crash. Solloum is also wanted by police on other outstanding warrants.
