London police have arrested a 17-year-old wanted for first-degree murder in Halifax.
The teen was arrested at the Days Inn on Wellington Rd. just before 3pm on Thursday in a joint effort by London police and the Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad.
The male, who cannot be identified because of his age, was wanted in the shooting death of 20-year-old Joseph Cameron.
Cameron was found dead on March 29 on a Dartmouth sidewalk.
Police say the 17-year-old suspect is currently in custody in London, but will be returned to Nova Scotia for a court appearance at a later date.
