Police are investigating after a body was discovered in a parked car east of Woodstock.
The Ontario Provincial Police say on Saturday around 9:35am, officers were contacted by concerned residents who reported seeing a suspicious vehicle parked along Canning Rd. in Blandford Blenheim Township.
When officers responded, they found an unresponsive female in the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene by a coroner. Her identity has not been released at this time.
Police say Canning Rd. is expected to be closed between Hwy. 2 and Township Rd. until around 9pm, while officers conduct an investigation.
