The London Majors advanced to the IBL semifinals with a sweep of the Guelph Royals, though they needed an extra inning to do it.
London had to fight back after letting slip a three-run lead in the ninth inning. The Majors won Game 4 of the best-of-seven quarter-final Tuesday night 10-9, scoring the winning run in the top of the 10th inning.
Chris McQueen got the winning rally started when he walked then stole second with two out. RJ Fuhr then doubled on a full count to bring him home.
Todd Leavitt struck out Blake Kauer of Guelph to end the game and the series, stranding runners on first and second Fuhr had two hits, an RBI and run, while Carlos Arteaga had two RBIs. Brett Sabourin and Byron Reichstein each drove in a run.
London starter Cory Hammond went six innings and gave up a run on six hits with four walks and four strikeouts.
