Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect

London police are looking for a suspect after another bank robbery in the city.

Police say a man walked into the Bank of Montreal at 1315 Commissioners Rd. E around 12:10pm on Thursday and demanded money. The man then took off on a motorcycle.

No one was injured and no weapon was used during the robbery.

This is the third time within a month a bank in London has been robbed.

The Bank of Montreal at 555 Hamilton Rd. was robbed on August 31. A 30-year-old man was arrested in connection with the robbery. Less than a week before that, a man on a motorcycle made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Scotia Bank at 950 Hamilton Rd.

Police say they are investigating whether the two robberies involving a motorcycle are connected.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call police at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
