Dixie Chicks Returning To London

Grammy-award winning counrty artists Dixie Chicks are coming back to London.

The trio will play Budweiser Gardens on April 18, it was announced Monday. The band is currently on its "DCX MMXVII" tour, which began in June and has stopped in over 40 cities in the U.S. and Canada.

Tickets for the London show go on sale Friday at 10am.

This will be a return engagement in London for Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire, and Emily Robison. They played Budweiser Gardens in November 2013, after first playing the arena in 2006. The 2006 show, at what was still known as the John Labatt Centre, was scheduled after a show in Milwaukee was cancelled as the band faced criticism over Maines' statement about George W. Bush that she was "ashamed that the President of the United States is from Texas."

The Dixie Chicks have won 13 Grammy Awards and sold over 30-million albums worldwide, making them the biggest selling female band of all time in the U.S.
