One man has been seriously injured following a single-vehicle crash in Middlesex Centre.
The Ontario Provincial Police say on Wednesday around 11:40pm, a black Jeep SUV was travelling north on Adelaide St. near Fourteen Mile Rd., when it left the roadway, entered a ditch, struck a lane way, became airborne, and then came to rest in a field on its side.
The driver and lone occupant, a 44-year-old man from Lucan Biddulph, was ejected from the vehicle. He was rushed to hospital to be treated for life threatening injuries.
The road was closed as a result of the crash, but it has since reopened.
Police say the incident remains under investigation.
