Holiday Skate, Toy Drive For CAS

Londoners will be able to skate on the same ice as the London Knights this Sunday.

Budweiser Gardens is holding its annual Open House Skate from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. Toy and cash donations for the London Children’s Aid Society will be accepted at the door.

“The staff at Budweiser Gardens is proud to support the Children’s Aid Society. We take pride in giving back to many organizations all year round, and especially during the holiday season,” said Brian Ohl, regional vice president and general manager of Budweiser Gardens.

This is the eighth year the downtown venue has held the free public skate and toy drive, raising $30,000 for local children’s charities since 2008.

Those planning to attend are asked to enter Budweiser Gardens via Gate 4. Children under 12 are required to wear a helmet for the skate.
