Baseball Hall of Fame Auction Continues

The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame's 13th annual Christmas Silent Auction is underway in support of the St. Marys-based organization.

There are over 60 items up for bids including Blue Jays autographed bats, golf passes, hockey tickets and non-sports items.

Director Scott Crawford says they were able to raise about $8,000 last year.

"Everything goes back into the hall of fame's programming and all the stuff we do keep the museum running and keep the ball fields going for the kids to play on," says Crawford.

"The museum and ball fields are closed during the winter so it's another way to raise revenue and the money all goes back in because 2017 will be just as busy or busier than 2016 was, and we were our busiest ever this past year."

Bids can be made until December 14.

You can call the hall at 519-284-1838, email scott@baseballhalloffame.ca or drop by 140 Queen St. E in St. Marys.
