Pedestrian Killed On Adelaide

London police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed on Wednesday.

Around 6:25pm, police say a 61-year-old man was crossing Adelaide St. at Central Ave. when he was hit by a vehicle going north on Adelaide. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries in the collision.

The man's name is not being released until next of kin have been notified.

The London police Traffic Management Unit is investigating. Anyone with any information is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in on-line anonymously to www.londoncrimestoppers.com.
