Knights Hold Off The Storm

The London Knights downed the Guelph Storm 4-1 in OHL action on Friday.

Victor Mete scored for the Knights eight minutes into the first period, but Guelph added a goal of their own to tie the game before the second.  The Knights retook the lead thanks to a goal by Alex Formenton early in the second frame.

London was able to hold off Guelph in the final frame, with Chris Martenet and Brandon Crawley each scoring a goal to cap off the Knights' win.

Goaltender Jordan Kooy made 30 saves out of 31 shots on net for London.

The Knights return to Budweiser Gardens on December 28 to take on the Oshawa Generals at 7pm.
