Teen Charged In Fatal Buggy Crash

A charge of careless driving has been laid against an 18-year-old woman days after a fatal crash involving a horse drawn buggy north of Milverton.

Perth OPP say 74-year-old David Kuepfer of Perth East died from injuries he suffered when a vehicle struck the buggy he was riding in on Line 67 east of Perth Rd. 136, around 8:15am on Sunday.

Three other people riding in the buggy were injured in the crash. Two remain in hospital in stable condition. The third was treated and released.

The 18-year-old driver of the car was not hurt. She will appear in Stratford court on March 14 to answer to the charge of careless driving.
