A 21-year-old Norwich Township man is charged following a three-week internet luring investigation involving a child.
Norfolk OPP received a complaint from a parent that a person was communicating inappropriately with their child over the internet in January. Members of the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit investigated the matter, arresting a 21-year-old man on Wednesday.
Matthew Monahan of Norwich Township is charged with three counts of luring a child for a sexual purpose, and one court of sending sexually explicit materials to a person under 16 years of age.
He will answer to the charges at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on March 28.
