Knights Trample Rangers 5-2

The London Knights scored a 5-2 victory over the Rangers in Kitchener on Friday.

The Rangers drew first blood with a goal late in the first period, but Dante Salituro scored for London to tie the game 8:54 into the second. Kitchener followed up with another goal minutes later, but the lead was short lived with Cliff Pu scoring for the Knights to tie the game once again.

Salituro and Pu scored their second goals of the night in the final frame to give London the advantage. Alex Formenton scored with two seconds left in the game to cap off the Knights' win.

London goaltender Tyler  Johnson made 30 saves out of 32 shots on net.

The Knights will take on the Erie Otters next on Wednesday. The puck drops at 7pm at the Erie Insurance Arena.
