Part of Elgin Rd. in Thames Centre is currently closed while police investigate the scene of a fatal crash.
Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police say on Sunday morning around 7:26am, a black Chevrolet car travelling northbound on Elgin Rd. ended up off the road, hitting a tree.
The male driver has been taken to hospital but his injuries are unknown. The male passenger died at the scene.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators have closed Elgin Rd. from Cromarty Drive to Mossley Drive to investigate.
