A multi-vehicle crash closed the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 401 in London on Friday afternoon.
Provincial police closed the highway at Wonderland Rd. just after 12pm after between 15 and 20 vehicles collided. The chain-reaction crash happened as weather conditions made driving tricky.
Police say five people were taken to hospital. One suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The other four suffered minor injuries.
Traffic was detoured for a couple of hours. Police announced just after 2pm that the eastbound lanes had re-opened.
