Body Found South Of Dutton Identified

The body of a man found in the area of John Pearce Provincial Park has been identified as that of a missing Oil City man.

Police were called by a concerned citizen on Tuesday, March 7 after the discovery of the body. A post-mortem was conducted the next day and determined that foul play was not a factor in the man's death.

On Tuesday, Strathroy-Caradoc police announced that the body has been identified by Elgin OPP as that of 54-year-old Brenton Wallis. He was reported missing on February 7. He had last been spoken to on February 1.

The Strathroy Caradoc police would like to thank the public for its help in this case.
