A 45-year-old London woman is charged after a man was stabbed during a robbery.
Police say, around 1:20am Sunday, a man was walking on Tecumseh Ave. near Lockyer St. when a woman came up to him and demanded money. The victim was stabbed in the shoulder and was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police responded but were unable to find a suspect.
At around 10am Sunday, an officer was dealing with a woman in regards to a separate matter when an investigation determined she was a suspect in the stabbing. The woman was taken into custody.
Jody Johnson, 45, is now charged with attempted robbery, assault causing bodily harm, and possession of a dangerous weapon.
