A 21-year-old Strathroy-Caradoc man has been charged with arson after a blaze at a Mount Brydges grocery store.
Strathroy-Caradoc police and the Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department were called to the back of the Mount Brydges Food Mart on Adelaide Rd. shortly before 1:43am on Tuesday. When emergency crews arrived they found a cube van and an adjacent transformer on fire.
Investigators found accelerant has been used to fuel the fire.
An unidentified 21-year-old man has been charged with three counts of arson.
Police say a second suspect has been identified in relation to the blaze. Charges are pending against that individual.
