London police are reminding the public to be mindful of suspicious activity after an ATM, and two bank night deposit boxes were stolen earlier this month.
The ATM was removed from inside the Canadian Tire gas bar on Hyde Park Rd., south of Fanshawe Park Rd. around 4:20am on June 9. Roughly a week later, on June 17, the night deposit box was taken from the Scotiabank at 639 Southdale Rd. E at around 5:15am.
In a third early morning theft, the night deposit box from the Scotiabank at 1430 Fanshawe Park Rd. was stolen on Thursday. A second location on Fanshawe Park Rd. was also targeted the same morning, according to police.
Police are not saying how much money was stolen through these thefts.
In two of the three incidents, a black GMC pickup truck was spotted in the area. Police believe it may have been involved. They are encouraging Londoners to report any suspicious activity, people or vehicles.
The Criminal Investigations Division continues to investigate the thefts.
