Huron County OPP have identified the victim in a fatal rollover crash west of Clinton.
Police say 38-year-old Travis Virag of Central Huron was killed in the early morning crash on Bayfield Rd. A passerby called Huron OPP just before 1:30am Thursday, after spotting a heavily damaged vehicle in the ditch along Bayfield Rd, just west of Airport Line.
When officers arrived, they found a Saturn Vue in the south ditch, but a canine team was needed to find the driver who had been thrown from the vehicle when it rolled. He was found dead near the scene.
The road has now been reopened between Bannockburn Line and Airport Line. following an investigation.
A post-mortem examination has been scheduled.
