Two teens are among three people charged following a serious crash involving a stolen vehicle southwest of London.
Middlesex OPP were called to Brodkin Rd. at Jones Dr. around 1:30pm on June 30, after a car that had been reported stolen hit a tree. When officers arrived they found two men with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Both were taken to hospital.
Two other males had taken off from the scene after the crash, according to police. Following a three hour search by the canine unit the pair were arrested. Officers also found a firearm.
A 25-year-old man, a 17-year-old boy, and a 13-year-old, all from London, are charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
The 13-year-old is also charged with breaking and entering into a house to commit an indictable offence.
The names of the teens cannot be released because of their age, while the name of the adult can't be released as it could identify the two teens.
