A London woman is charged after a pedestrian had to be airlifted to hospital after being hit by a car in Otterville.
Oxford OPP say it happened Saturday around 3:55pm on Main St. in the Norwich Township community. Police say a Toyota car was heading east on Main St. when it hit a 71-year-old man who was standing beside a parked utility trailer. The force of the collision sent the man flying into the trailer.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital by ORNGE air ambulance with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car wasn't hurt.
Tarnjit Lail, 19, of London is charged with careless driving.
