UPDATE: Driver Identified in Glendon Crash

The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service has identified the driver in Thursday's fatal collision.

26-year-old Rachel Joris of Mount Brydges was pronounced dead shortly after the accident at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital campus.

The incident happened around 10:30am on Glendon Dr near Troops Rd. A farm tractor carrying a trailer was pulling onto the westbound lanes of Glendon when a vehicle driven by the victim came over the train overpass and struck the middle of the trailer.

The victim had to be extricated from the vehicle.

The Strathroy-Caradoc Police and the Ontario Provincial Police are still investigating the collision. Anyone with information should call Cst. Schut at the Strathroy-Caradoc Police at (519) 245-1250, or Crime Stoppers at (519) 222-8477 (TIPS).
