A pedestrian suffered life threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in southeast London.
London police say the 44-year-old woman was hit by a westbound vehicle on Commissioners Rd. E at Deveron Cres. around 9pm Tuesday.
The woman was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. An update on the woman's condition was not released on Wednesday.
The Traffic Management Unit has taken over the investigation. They are asking anyone with information about the crash to call police at (519) 661-5680 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
This is the second time this week a pedestrian has been hit by a vehicle in London. On Monday an elderly woman was struck at the intersection of Fanshawe Park. Rd. and North Centre Rd. Her injuries were described by police as non-life threatening.
