UPDATE: Seven Arrested After Fatal Stabbing

London police have charged five adults and two youths after one man was stabbed to death and another was injured in a "targeted attack."

Officers responded to a home on Lansdowne Ave. on Monday around 11:40pm, to find the man who had been stabbed and a second man who had been assaulted.

Both were rushed to hospital, where the man who was stabbed was later pronounced dead.  He has been identified as 43-year-old Raymond Beaver of London. The second victim, a 47-year-old London man, was treated at hospital and released.

Police said several people were seen running from the scene, and early on Wednesday, five people were arrested.

Daniel Cavanagh, 32, Melissa George, 34, and Nicholas George, 18, who are all from of London, have been charged with break and enter, and assault with a weapon. Melissa is also charged with uttering threats.

Two youths were arrested as well and charged with break and enter.  They cannot be identified under the under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

A warrant was also issued for the arrest of 20-year-old Peter Townsend and 38-year-old Lisa Sager, who are from London.  Officers were able to locate and arrest both suspects sometime Wednesday evening. The two are charged with break and enter, and assault with a weapon.

No murder charges have been laid at this time, however, officers believe the homicide and assault were part of a “targeted incident” and were not random.

An investigation is ongoing.
