Drivers heading through Woodstock on Hwy. 401 will have to deal with detours Thursday night and Friday night.
The highway is scheduled to be closed to allow crews to install girders for the new Hwy. 59 overpass. The Ministry of Transportation says the eastbound and westbound lanes of Hwy. 401 will be closed at Norwich Ave (Hwy. 59) from 8pm Thursday to 6am Friday and the westbound lanes will be closed again from 8pm Friday to 6am Saturday.
Traffic will be re-routed via the Hwy. 59 interchange ramps.
Norwich Ave will also be closed between Juliana Rd. and Old Stage Rd. on both nights.
The MTO says the closures are subject to weather conditions.
