The London Lightning beat the Niagara River Lions 118-109 at Budweiser Gardens on Friday.
At the end of the first quarter, London lead Niagara by ten points, and the Lightning were able to increase their lead to 67-52 heading into halftime.
The River Lions narrowed the gap in the third but weren't able to overtake the Lightning who led 92-87 at the end of the frame. In the final quarter, Niagara was able to bring the game within two points, but London continued to ensure an advantage to win with a nine-point lead.
The Lightning are on the road on Sunday to take on the Kitchener Waterloo Titans at 7pm.
