Jordan Kooy had 38 saves in goal for the London Knights in their 2-1 win over the Rangers in Kitchener Sunday.
The Knights are in second place and closing in on the Rangers in the OHL Midwest Division with 49 points.
London opened the scoring at 9:12 in the first period when Lucas Rowe scored his first career OHL goal, with Harrison Cottam getting the assist. The Rangers tied the game before the end of the frame on a goal by Riley Damiani.
Connor McMichael gave the Knights the lead for good with the only goal in the second period, a power play tally and his sixth of the season.
Luke Richardson was between the pipes for Kitchener, stopping 28 out of 30 shots.
The Knights travel to Windsor on Thursday to face the rival Spitfires.
