The deadly opioid fentanyl was among nearly $15,000 worth of illegal drugs seized by police from a London home.
London police searched a home on Adelaide St. North on Wednesday turning up 29.5 g of fentanyl powder and 30 g of crystal methamphetamine. The drugs are worth a combined $14,800.
Digital weigh scales and $3,000 in cash were also seized.
A 38-year-old man and 40-year-old woman, both from London, are charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and failure to comply with a recognizance.
Both were scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
