The Ontario Provincial Police say the remains were discovered on Tuesday in the area of Turner Rd. and Beck Line in Central Elgin.
Police ruled out foul play following a post-mortem examination on Thursday.
The name of deceased is not being released until next of kin has been notified.
An investigation is ongoing.
