A 28-year-old London man is facing charges after a woman was kidnapped and sexually assaulted.
London police say a 19-year-old woman was walking west on Oxford St. from Richmond St. around 3:30am Sunday when a man tried to convince her to get into his vehicle. After the woman repeatedly refused, the man got out of the vehicle, grabbed her by the arm and forced her into the front seat of the car.
The man then sexually assaulted the woman while driving the vehicle, according to police. He dropped the woman off at the intersection of Oxford St. and Wharncliffe Rd. shortly after.
Noorullah Husaini of London is charged with sexual assault and kidnapping. He is scheduled to appear in London court to answer to the charge on May 8.
Believing there may be other victims, police have released a description of Husaini. He is East Indian, approximately 200 lbs, 5’8”, with short black hair, a full beard, and brown eyes. Husaini is known to drive a 2005 Pontiac four-door sedan, grey in colour, plated CBVP853.
