Oxford OPP are looking for two suspects after a bank robbery in Embro.
Police say two men walked into the Royal Bank on Commissioner St. around 3:30pm Thursday.
Both men were wearing balaclavas covering their faces and displayed handguns during the robbery. Police say they ran out of the bank in an unknown direction. A canine unit searched the area but was unable to find the men.
Police say around 3pm, witnesses saw a black four-door Mercedes parking on St. Andrew St. west of Argyle St. The two men who emerged from the vehicle had descriptions matching those of the suspects.
The Mercedes also had a larger emblem, as well as tinted windows with chrome below the window frame.
The two employees and two customers in the bank at the time were not hurt.
The first suspect is described as a white man, average height with a slim build. He was wearing a red Adidas jacket, white hooded sweatshirt, black pants, orange gloves, and a black balaclava.
The second suspect is described a white, average height with a medium build. He was wearing a black and grey striped sweater, orange shirt, patterned grey pants, blue latex gloves, and a black balaclava covering his face.
