London police are asking for the public's help to identify suspects following an apartment shooting in the south end.
Police say on Saturday just after 10pm, officers responded to a 911 call regarding a suspicious noise believed to be a gun shot at 1588 Ernest Ave. in London.
When they arrived, officers discovered that a bullet had been fired through the door of an apartment there.
The apartment was not occupied at the time and there were no injuries reported.
Police believe the incident was not a random act and that the apartment was targeted. The firearm has not been recovered.
According to police, two people were seen running from the scene after the shooting. No arrests have been made at this time.
The first person was described as a light-skinned black man, approximately 20 to 30 years old, about 6’3,” with a medium build. He was wearing a dark grey hooded jacket, black pants, and white shoes.
The second person was described as a white man, 20 to 30 years old, approximately 5’9,” with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, beige pants, black shoes, and a black baseball cap with a reflective sticker on the brim.
