Two teenagers are facing charges in connection with a violent robbery in north London that was caught on video and posted to social media.
A 25-year-old man was inside the ATM area of the Bank of Montreal at 101 Fanshawe Park Rd. East around 4am on April 21 when he was confronted by two males. One of the suspects recorded the video which shows a second suspect, wearing a balaclava, kicking the man on the ground before robbing him, said London police.
Police became aware of the incident last Thursday when a citizen provided them with the video that was briefly posted to social media. As a result of their investigation an 18-year-old and 16-year-old, both from London, were arrested.
They are charged with robbery with violence and wearing a disguise with intent.
Police have said they will not be releasing the video.
