Elgin County OPP say a person has life-threatening injuries after a tractor trailer crashed into an SUV.
Members of the Elgin County OPP, West Elgin Fire Department, and Elgin-St.Thomas EMS responded to a two-vehicle collision on Sunday at around 7:30am on Talbot Line (Hwy. 3) between Furnival Rd. and Mistele Rd. in West Elgin.
Police say a tractor trailer was traveling westbound on Talbot Line when it collided with an eastbound SUV.
According to police, the driver of the SUV was taken to hospital with minor injuries and the passenger was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
