Shooting Suspect Descriptions Released

London police now have descriptions of the suspects wanted in a shooting this week.

On Tuesday night, police were called to the area of Huron St. and Sandford St. after a man was shot. He was taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Police have said they don't believe the shooting was a random incident.

"The investigation has revealed that two males entered a residence in the area, when a third male attended with a firearm in his possession," police said in a statement issued Thursday. "A brief altercation took place, during which the firearm was discharged and the victim was struck."

Three men left the scene in a "bluish-silver four-door vehicle, believed to be a Honda."

The first suspect is described as a black male, tall, in his 20s, and with facial hair.

The second was a black male with braids in his hair, thin, shorter than the first suspect, and dressed in black. He had tattoos on one of his forearms.

The third suspect is a black male, shorter than the other two. He has a tattoo of a tear drop and a scar near his left eye. Police say this suspect was in possession of the gun.

Anyone with information about their identities or about this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in on-line anonymously to www.londoncrimestoppers.com
