Arson Charge Laid Against London Man

A 22-year-old London man is facing arson charges in connection to a house fire last December.

London firefighters were called to the blaze at 216 Margaret St., just east of Egerton St. around 9:20pm on December 8, 2017. There were no injuries reported and no one was home at the time.

The fire was deemed suspicious prompting an investigation by the fire inspector, the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office, and London police.

On Wednesday, police arrested Bo-Richard Leforte of London in relation to the blaze. He is charged with two counts of arson disregarding human life.
