A 15-year-old had to be airlifted to hospital following an ATV crash southeast of Tillsonburg.
Three teenagers were riding on the machine on Bell Mill Side Rd. in Middleton around 1:23pm Thursday when the 15-year-old driver lost control, hit a tree, and then rolled the all-terrain vehicle, said Norfolk OPP.
The driver was pinned under the ATV until emergency crews arrived. The teen was then flown to a Toronto area hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
The two passengers, a 14-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Bell Mill Side Rd. between Goshen Rd. and 3rd Concession Rd. was closed for several hours as a result of the crash.
OPP continue to investigate and are reminding the public to make their safety a priority when out on the roads.
