Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt In Middlesex Collision

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.

It happened Saturday around 4:30pm on Rebecca Rd. north of Robins Hill Rd., near London International Airport.

Constable Adam Crewdson says the vehicle was traveling northbound on Rebecca Rd. when it began to turn into a private driveway. The motorcycle, traveling southbound, collided with the vehicle.

The motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The OPP closed Rebecca Rd. between Robins Hill Rd. and Wyton Drive for over three hours so the Technical Collision Investigation team could complete its work. The road reopened just before 8pm Saturday.

London-Middlesex EMS and the Thames Centre Fire Department assisted the OPP with the call.
