St. Thomas Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a man wanted for allegedly trying to steal a vehicle.
Police said a citizen noticed an unknown male in a neighbour’s vehicle in the south end of the city Saturday night around 10 p.m.
Officers said male was unsuccessful in stealing the vehicle and fled the scene on foot before police arrived.
A perimeter was set up and London Police K9 assisted to find the male, but he evaded police.
He is described as being 6’2″, wearing black athletic shorts, grey shirt and no shoes.
Anyone with information is asked St. Thomas police or Crimestoppers.
