London police are advising students to lock-up after over half a dozen homes near Fanshawe College were broken into in less than a week.
In total, there were break-ins at eight student homes on Fleming Dr. over a six-day period beginning last Tuesday. The break and enters happened between 10pm and 2am.
Suspects were able to get inside the homes through unlocked doors and windows, according to police. Items were stolen from five of the eight homes involved.
Police are now reminding residents to always keep their doors and windows locked, even when at home.
