Criminal charges have been laid against a seven-year member of the Middlesex OPP.
Police began investigating after allegations were made regarding the officer's off-duty conduct.
Constable Darko Darkov, who was assigned to the highway safety division, was charged last Wednesday with criminal harassment, mischief, and unlawfully being in a dwelling.
Darkov has been suspended with pay. Due to a provision in the current Police Services Act, an officer cannot be suspended without pay.
He is scheduled to appear in London court to answer to the charges at a later date.
